A licensed, experienced captain
Captain Keith holds a 100-Ton Master’s license from the U.S. Coast Guard and is certified in CPR and First Aid. He has sailed and worked the waters of Cape Cod Bay for over 30 years and has captained vessels along the Eastern Seaboard as far south as Panama. You’re sailing with a true professional who knows these waters intimately.

Coast Guard safety standards
Discovery is equipped with U.S. Coast Guard-required safety gear, including life jackets for every passenger, a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and all required signaling and navigation equipment. In keeping with Coast Guard regulations for our vessel, we carry a maximum of 6 passengers on every private charter.

Life jackets for all ages
Life jackets are available for every guest. Children are welcome aboard and are required to wear a properly fitted life jacket at all times.

A stable, comfortable ride
Discovery’s two-hull catamaran design makes for a notably stable, level ride — even under sail — which means a smoother, more relaxing trip and far less worry about seasickness than a traditional monohull.

Weather policy
Safety always comes first. If conditions are unsafe, we will cancel the charter and offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule. We monitor marine forecasts closely and will never put a trip ahead of your safety.
